**General Assistant**
We are looking for a new member to join our busy team to work 2/3 days a week at our Emsworth store.
You should be friendly, punctual and presentable with good attention to detail.
**The position averages 19 hours a week over 5 days.**
**You will be required to work in our Emsworth store Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm, Saturday between 9.00am and 5.00pm, with an alternating Saturday or Thursday off each week.**
This position requires:
- Training to operate cleaning machines, pressing/ironing, and quality control.
- Serving customers using our computer till system.
- Completing end of day routines and weekly reports.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Maintaining a clean working environment.
- Fluent spoken English language skills.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:include the following although other duties may be assigned.
- Check match between customer invoice and number/condition of items received.
- Check care labels.
- Check for damage to items received.
- Check all pockets for any foreign matter.
- Determine invoicing; print and remove tags from printer.
- Handle invoice queries for any missing pieces or items needing special attention.
- Sort and collate invoices into numerical order to facilitate correct order assembly.
- Separate dry cleaning and laundry items according to classifications, load
/ unload cleaning machines and tumble dryers.
- Treat stains before/after cleaning as required.
- Press/iron items to a high standard after suitable training provided.
- Cleans and maintains work area.

No prior experience needed as full training provided.
