Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a Welcome & Service Assistant, plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, (typically less in the winter and more in the summer) however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. **There will also be regular weekend work for this role (to be discussed at interview).**

**Please note that due to the location of this role, transport is required.**

What it's like to work here:Devils Dyke & Ditchling Beacon are very popular tourist locations. During the Summer season we see thousands of visitors each week. You'll be part of the Welcome & Service team, maintaining standards across both sites as well as engaging with our visitors. You'll meet people from all walks of life.

What you'll be doing:Visitors are a vital part of what we do. As the Welcome & Service Assistant it’s your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day.

In this role, you’ll be based at Devils Dyke & Ditchling Beacon (You'll need to be able to get to these locations). During the Summer, you'll be working alongside staff and volunteers in delivering outstanding customer service across both of these locations. In the Winter, you'll be focusing on caring for these special places and there is an element of lone working at this time. You'll be part of the Welcome Team all year round, proving information and orientation, helping to grow support.

You'll be operating outdoors, supporting the maintenance of the site including the facilities

You'll promote events, offers, products and benefits of actively supporting the National Trust and support in the delivery of events at times throughout the year.
