We are currently looking for a multimedia fashion photographer to join our team on a 7 month fixed term contract. You should have experience working with live models in a studio environment.

**Job Description**:
**Product Imagery 80%**
- To digitally photograph QVC product for all platforms; following set style guides to ensure consistent high quality imagery is produced encouraging sale of products.
- To be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of images at all times and ensure all imagery is available for presentation and image database in accordance with commercial deadlines.
- Take all reasonable steps to shoot designated number of PD assets within allocated shift.
- To digitally manipulate any image requiring corrections in colour, blemishes, shadow or background.
- To communicate the status of images in workflow process to relevant departments and liaise with relevant teams regarding missing images, re-shoots and image issues, resolving problems/enquires in a timely manner.
- To upload vendor imagery in a timely manner. Artworking any images where necessary.
- To contribute to style guide development.
- To cover FMV Producer creating video and still assets for broadcast use ensuring assets are shot to FMV style guide and are delivered within deadlines.
- To be technically proficient in all still image systems inclusive of QSAAM.
- To follow Health and Safety guidelines ensuing safe systems of work and compliance in image acquisition areas and operations.
- Assist in the training and integration of new staff and freelancers.

**Creative Imagery 20%**
- Collaborating on creative projects with designers, set stylist, fashion stylist, web merchandisers, buyers, producers and CP’s to creating high-end lifestyle imagery for TSVs, web promotions, and marketing.
- Responsible for ensuring creative imagery is on brief, shot to a high standard, in line with QVC brand, appealing to our customer and also achievable in time frame given.
- To keep adept with what our competitors, retailers and high-end magazines are creating and in turn keeping QVC work relevant to the market and on trend.
- To experiment creatively with new ideas to improve the impact of the imagery.
- To follow Health and Safety guidelines ensuing safe systems of work and compliance in image acquisition areas and operations.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**
- Degree / HND qualified or equivalent in Art / Photography or a related discipline with a strong photographic element.
- Considerable and demonstrable creative experience in a photographic or studio environment.
- Good knowledge of photographic equipment used in a studio environment.
- Proficiency in lighting, depth of field and other composition techniques in order to consistently achieve and convey correct aesthetic result.
- Demonstrable skills using imaging packages e.g. Adobe Photoshop and capture
- The ability to prioritise workload and communicate effectively is essential as is the capacity to work under pressure in a studio environment.
