**What does the role look like?**

In short, the role focusses on (in priority order):

- To lead the outbound and inbound software sales new business activities (50% of leads come through their extensive marketing activities
- Generating new business revenues: meeting and exceeding targets (individual and team)

**Typical responsibilities will include (but not limited to)**:

- Deliver full sales function, including pre-sales activities, preparing quotations, presentations, contract negotiation, gathering market intelligence and post-sales activities
- Managing, recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Sales Executives
- Develop, introduce, and deliver ongoing outbound sales strategy to secure additional new business revenues (quarterly campaigns by product)
- Conversion of MQLs to SQLs from both inbound and outbound activities (PPC, SEO, Content, Events, Cold Prospecting, Social Selling, eMarketing and other sources)
- Grow, nurture, and manage pipeline of contacts in Salesforce that have the potential to turn into opportunities
- In conjunction with Marketing, refine, influence, and determine improvements to inbound and outbound lead generation activities to increase MQL to SQL conversion rate
- Maintain constant contact with Marketing team, contributing to the development of marketing activities, messaging, website content and campaign activity
- Adopt and use additional Sales and Marketing tools to identify new prospects and drive conversion (to include Pardot, Lead Forensics and LinkedIn)
- Ensure the seamless transition of new clients from Sales to Client Services
- Meeting monthly and quarterly targets and KPIs set and agreed with Managing Director
- Attend new business meetings and key annual events, in conjunction with Managing Director, to engage with prospects, sharing key messaging and qualify opportunities
- Build effective internal working relationships with Development and Client Services
