The Business Development Team works from our Brighton office 5 days per week for the first 3 months with the opportunity to work in the office 3 days per week after that.What youll be doing:We are looking for an additional Sales Manager (SM) to build and manage an additional Brighton-based acquisition sales team. Our sales department has grown from 1 to nearly 150 and we are looking for leaders to help us successfully scale even further. The SM will report into either our Co-Head of Sales or our Senior Sales Manager for Brighton and work alongside a team of Sales Managers. As a senior leader within the department you will be at the heart of driving sales strategy performance development and retention of the team. The SM will also be vital in helping to build relationships across the wider teams in Manchester and London and leading the department to success.Building a team of 8-12 BDMs that you will be mentoring and coaching through formal and informal channelsReviewing performance and effectiveness through analytics and pipeline managementBalancing your teams targets and objectives with the broader business objectives and prioritiesAgreeing and setting daily/weekly targets and KPIs for your teamCollaborating with other SMs on best practice process improvements and knowledge sharingWorking alongside our Co-Head of Sales to assist in developing sales strategies to drive growthBuilding and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders across the businessWorking closely with our People Team on sourcing interviewing and onboarding talent into your teamWere Looking For:A comprehensive understanding of SMEs and their financial workingsData driven mindset and ability to analyse funnel and performance dataAbility to motivate and drive performance within your teamA track record of mentoring and coaching junior team members to successA results driven commercial mindsetExcellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example in telesalesCheck out thedevelopment opportunitiesin the Sales team.Great Work Deserves Great PerksWe try not to take ourselves too seriously (all the time) so we make sure our office is decked out with a pool table arcade machine beer tap and a couple of office dogs thrown in for good measure.
