**What is the role?**
To provide administration services and support from our Lymington offices to our Director, Surveyors and Engineers
The main part of the role involves booking surveyor visits, writing and checking quotes contents for errors/omissions and correcting prior to sending to customers; requesting quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors with a view to formulating a quote price; inputting suppliers’ invoices, typing from some dictation, general office tasks
**Who are we looking for?**
The role would be suitable for someone with high attention to detail and a true consideration of our customers’ needs. The job holder must be able to learn and retain information and once taught learn quickly.
Strong IT skills needed including MS office
Have ability to set own work priorities in a very busy environment, managing own time and meeting deadlines
Have flexibility in role and adapt to daily changes
Capability to learn our industry specific software quickly and well
Ideally have a good understanding of the running's of a small business
Be confident in financial matters regarding quoting, invoicing and ordering.
Good interpersonal skills required for dealing with our staff and wide range of clients
The role will include customer phone calls so must have a polite helpful phone manner
Hours/days to be negotiated, approximately 30 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, plus holiday cover for 2 office staff in Lymington office.
