A bit about the job:
This role is key to protecting our Business by maintaining customer service and regulatory obligations as well as minimising the financial impact of any unexpected loss of IT services. As an IT Service Continuity Specialist, you will coordinate and deliver Disaster and Cyber Recovery test planning and execution through close collaboration with internal and external teams. You will also ensure issues/actions associated to Recovery risks are resolved in a timely manner and solve problems in line with policy, process, and other guidelines.
Please note, you will work flexibly to adapt to Business needs, as this role will demand occasional weekend and evening work.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Demonstrate logical thinking, a structured approach to analysis, and will have an eye for detail- Be self-confident and seeking to make a real impact - hold strong communication and presentation skills, as well as being able to explain technical analysis to non-technical audiences-
- Have DR, BCP, PMP or ITIL certification (although not essential)- Have experience in Disaster recovery testing or even Cyber Recovery solutions; (a foundational understanding of IT Infrastructure is important; the rest can be learnt)
What you’ll get for this role:
