Acrylic Laser Cutting Machine Operator

This role is for a CNC laser machine operator. It requires a technically minded person, familiar with using programs on a PC and ability to multitask. You need to be very self sufficient and able to work on your own.

On-site training will be provided.

It involves understanding a computer based manufacturing software, to specify what products and parts need to be cut. Care needs to be taken with the raw acrylic sheets. Someone in this role needs to be self sufficient and manage their own time and space. They will be expected to run two machines simultaneously and finish cut parts during the times waiting for the cuts to finish and other jobs as required. Also maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Managing ones own time and working in a team environment.

It is very important to work efficiently and follow work proceedures.

**Duties**:

- Operating a laser CNC machine by studying work orders, materials and specifications.
- Competent in the use of a computer based manufacturing and inventory system.
- Understand product parts and sub-assemblies.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Working hours: 5pm to 1am.

**Salary**: £20,500.00-£21,500.00 per year
