Caterer/ Steward Franchise

Appleby Golf Club, established in 1903, is home to an 18-hole moorland golf course, boasting amazing views over the Eden Valley and Lake District.

The club caters for golf days, societies, opens and visitors, alongside servicing over 500 members. The club also holds various functions and events throughout the year.

We offer a well-equipped kitchen, with a function/dining room overlooking the 18th green which has a dining capacity of up to 80 guests.

Accommodation on site with the benefits of covered overheads for both kitchen and accommodation will be provided if required.

We are looking for a team for the role whereby the catering is that of a franchise, with the bar staff employed and salaried by the club overseen by the Club Manager.

We believe there is a great opportunity to grow this business further and are seeking a partner with ambition, vision and energy to drive catering in the club, key responsibilities include:

- ** **Provision of varied quality food daily ranging from snacks to meals for members/visitors

** **Supply and management of catering and service staff for all food served within the club house

** **H&S and maintaining our 5 star food hygiene rating

** Working with our progressive Committee to develop the business and offering

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in catering/hospitality and the ability to promote and drive a successful business. Previous Golf Club experience is not essential as we are looking for someone who is able to provide a quality service to our membership and visitors.
