Arthur has partnered with a leading global insurer, in recruiting for a new Senior Wordings Specialist based in London
We're looking for a talented individual to support the Wordings Manager in drafting and advising on wordings. This is a permanent role, with a hybrid working schedule and an ASAP start date.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Senior Wordings Specialist, you will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, preparing and producing contract wordings and other associated documentation for direct Casualty business.
You'll also help develop and manage their wordings strategy, including maintaining a repository of agreed wordings for all lines of business, providing regular training sessions for junior members of the underwriting teams, and designing and maintaining managementinformation to support the wordings strategy.
In addition, you'll provide advocacy support in handling broker negotiations with the Underwriters, check, proofread and approve policy wordings, and liaise with the division's underwriters to ensure appropriate issuance of policy documentation.
You'll also establish and maintain working relationships with other business partners, measure and report progress against objectives, and manage your own workload to ensure targets are achieved.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you'll need demonstrable experience and skills working within the London insurance/reinsurance market, with a focus on direct casualty classes, as well as strong technical knowledge of Insurance wordings and comprehension of theLloyd's regulatory framework, subscription market, Xchanging, and other related tools.
Experience working with Lloyd's web-based tools, market reform contracts, insurance policy legislation, wording/document production environment, direct contact with external parties (such as brokers), underwriting systems, and workflow systems are also highlydesired.
