Customer Engineer

We have an immediate opportunity for **"Customer Engineer"** with our client. **Job Role**: Customer Engineer **Job Type**: 12 Months Contract **Job Location**: London, UK (Remote is ok but needs to travel to London whenever client requires) **Role Specific Requirements** - UK Security Cleared - minimum required is SC clearance, DV clearance requested but not mandatory. Minimum 6 months before expiration. **Must have skills** - Active Directory (on-prem AD SME skills) - (Azure) Identity Management - Windows Server - Networking - Strong stakeholder management (C level) - Client consulting experience; including solutions presentations - Minimum of 5 years’ experience with AD on prem - Deep knowledge/experience with (writing) HLD and LLD - Client is looking for a Tech Lead/Consultant (not 2nd/3rd tier support role) - A key technical resource for the customer - Focused on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, delivering assessments and providing expert guidance - Join a highly motivated team of leading industry experts - Preview new technology before others in the industry and learn how to make the best of it - Visit customers to train them and share industry and development expertise - Be part of a thriving developer community that's constantly looking for ways to improve our customers’ experience, software development goals and use of technology. - Build strong customer relationships and ensure deliveries align with customer projects and milestones. - Gain access to expertise and support from consulting practice and product groups - Continually learn and grow professionally - Analyze problems - Maintain, extend accreditations and certifications, assist in developing best practices for key technologies and products to support technical team readiness - Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships, gain trust and respect for Premier. - Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills **Product & Functional Skills** - Technical Skills - Which Solution Area: - Broad knowledge of on-premises Microsoft products with deep understanding of (at least) one of the following: - (Azure) Identity Management - Active Directory - Windows Server - Virtualization - Networking - Generic experience with AAD/PIM etc for Hybrid identity environments - Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management. - 5+ years’ experience in systems development, network operations, software support, IT consulting - Self-reliant and strong team player - Working in a fast-paced environment where technology and customers’ requirements can change regularly - Understanding of Modern IT Architecture and Strategy - PowerShell\Scripting experience **Identity related requirements**: - Experience in designing and implementing Active Directory (and Azure Active Directory) - Windows Server related requirements: - Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V) platforms - Networking (virtualization) - PKI - Failover Clustering - RDS\WVD - Azure, knowledge of: - IaaS platform - Infrastructure as Code - Governance - Azure Active Directory\ Identity Management **Specific skills**: - Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises environments - Proven track record of building relationships with senior IT and business decision makers. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to explain complex topics in ways that can be understood by technical and business decision makers. - Fluency in English is essential - Willingness to travel
