**Job Overview**: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Shift Carer to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our residents during the night. As a Night Shift Carer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, offering physical and emotional support, and assisting with any needs that arise overnight.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transferring residents as needed.
- Monitor and respond to residents' needs throughout the night.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with night-time routines and support residents in settling down for the night.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and situations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a care or support role is preferred but not essential.
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., SVQ in Health and Social Care) are desirable.
