We have an exciting opportunity for an experience receptionist to join the building team at a fabulous building located next to The Lanes in Brighton. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, supporting the building manager with administration and reporting.

You will deliver an exemplary tenant service and visitor experience, understanding the importance of organising events that help to create a community vibe. You should be well presented with proven relevant experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.

**The role**

Provide a front of house reception service, with additional responsibilities, which will include:
**Reception**
- Delivering a warm, friendly welcome to tenants and visitors
- Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, following appropriate protocols
- Manage the process to create and track building and visitor passes
- Manage deliveries, including couriers and post
- Develop a good understanding of the local area, using this information to create a local amenities information file
- General administration as required

**Building management**
- Work closely with the building manager on reporting of building issues and helping manage to resolution.
- Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and providing information on health and safety requirements
- Produce weekly reports for key stakeholders
- Manage access to the carpark and coordinate with tenants regarding parking space allocation
- You will pay particular attention to security and health & safety in the building completing daily inspections of the site

**Tenant experience and community engagement**
- Develop and introduce seasonal events for the tenants, to create a sense of community and aid enjoyment in the workplace - this could include freebies, discounts, pop ups, events to support charity initiatives
- Produce a monthly e-newsletter to update tenants on initiatives to encourage uptake and participation, ensuring content is always on brand
- Confident and creative with a good eye for detail and able to produce communications using onsite/branded graphics.

**About you**
- You have proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
- You are personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- You are self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask
- You have excellent written, oral communication skills and able to confidently communicate with key stakeholders
- You are a competent Microsoft Office / PC user and willing to learn in house systems and processes

**Hours and salary**

£17,000 (30 hours pw)

Part Time

Wednesday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm

No weekends
