We have a great opportunity for a Gardener to join the property team here at Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa.

The gardens and grounds at Rowton Hall are made up of a number of different areas consisting of a walled garden, kitchen garden, woodlands as well as formal and informal planting areas.

The role will consist of all aspects of maintenance associated with the day to day care of the above.

**This role is primarily fixed term for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension for the right person.**

**The Person**

Ideally applicants should:

- Have some general Gardening experience.
- Be enthusiastic about plants and gardening & looking to expand your horticultural knowledge & skills.
- Be equally happy working alone or as part of a team.
- The role will involve interaction with other employees, members & guests so you will ideally be outgoing & friendly.
- The garden year is a varied one, you will need a flexible approach to your work & be happy to engage with a diverse range of challenges.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate gardener wishing to pursue a career in horticulture.

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
