Scott Closures International Ltd. are looking for an experienced Production Planner.

This is a full-time permanent position.

**Duties will include: (but not limited to)**
- Customer Orders - Control customer order process through SCI operation and liaise with internal sales and production to achieve customer requirements and ensuring that customer expectations are meet and/or exceeded, by planning mould shop production and wadding production.
- Liaise with other sites within ‘group’ to facilitate the manufacture of customer orders and to ensure delivery dates are met
- To raise the relevant production paperwork in the form of job cards and labels, and ‘change over dockets’ to enable the factory to manufacture planned requirements
- To monitor production in the form of daily figure analysis and collation, and report any issues
- Continuous analysis of production output, reporting any shortfalls and seeking solutions for resolution

Purchasing:

- To monitor and order supplies of materials to enable production, and the smooth running of the factory.
- Work with suppliers to manage costs, quality and service

Production Efficiencies:

- To work closely with shop floor engineers to seek out, report on and implement efficiencies within the factory
- Prepare reports about production processes for Site Manager and suggest ways to improve efficiencies in more complex areas
- Primary point of contact for staff with regards to any production queries or quality issues, working closely with quality control and shop floor to quickly and effectively resolve any issues
- To work closely with the shop floor engineers with regards to the implementation of new procedures and training
- To assist the shop floor engineers with regards to the setting up and implementation of maintenance programmes for factory machinery and equipment.

Tooling
- To work closely with shop floor engineers when tooling needs repairing or replacing
- Liaise closely with tool shop to action and organise tooling repairs/replacements

Stock Control:

- To control stock through regular monitoring to ensure component availability without overstock
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure stock is used in rotation
- To conduct regular stock takes and collate data onto relevant spreadsheets

Staff Management:

- To ensure all factory roles are covered through the appropriate management of staff
- To manage and report on, any staffing issues or queries
- To deal with in the first instance, any disciplinaries.
- To monitor and report on staff absence and sickness
- To conduct back to work interviews, for any member of staff returning after a period of absence

**Other**:

- Support both the Site Manager and Internal Sales in the resolution of queries, by seeking out any relevant information
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the smooth running of the business
- Training will be given to also cover other roles, during holidays and sickness

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
