**Pay**:
All our operatives are paid monthly, on the last working day of the month. Our salaries are based on an annual salary, paid in equal monthly instalments. Overtime is paid at your equivalent hourly rate each month.

For this role, the annual salary will be £21,840 (this is the equivalent to £10.50 per hour).

**Contract**:
This role is a permanent full time contract, with a three month probationary period.

**Shift Times**:
While we have set shift times, we are looking for individuals who can be flexible to suit the needs of our clients.

You will be expected to start work at 7.30am and finish at 4pm Monday to Friday. There are overtime opportunities in the evening and weekends too.

There are a minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed.

**Duties**:
Your role includes grass cutting, hedge cutting, strimming, amenity and general maintenance tasks.

**What skills are we looking for?**

You must be confident in interactions with members of public and have some experience working within the commercial grounds maintenance arena. We are looking for people who work well as part of a team and who are willing to use their initiative to get the job done.

You will have experience of commercial grounds maintenance tasks, use of pedestrian mowers, strimmers and ideally ride on mowers. A sound horticultural knowledge of shrubs and hedges is needed.

We are particularly interested in those who have PA1 & PA6 certificate but this is not essential and there is a chance to gain this while working with us.

**What support will you get?**

Our Contract Managers manage a tailored portfolio of clients, close to where they live. As a result they have the time to support our grounds operatives to deliver a great service to our clients. You will require all the relevant training to carry out your role, and this will continue through your career with us. We invest in our equipment and supplies to make sure you are able to carry out your role to the highest standard.

Our operatives are supplied with a fully equipped van and fuel will be provided via a fuel card.

A full uniform is provided to carry out your role.

All our team are asked to follow all relevant government guidance as well as our client requirements which can include the wearing of masks, use of sanitising products and regular handwashing. The majority of our roles involve mínimal external contact.
