**About us**

Furness Controls Limited is a World leading supplier of production line instrumentation and has an excellent opportunity for a Goods in & out admin clerk to join the Team based at the Service Division in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

On a day-to-day basis you will undertake the operational and administration duties involved with the shipment and receipt of both the incoming supplies and also finished products. You will verify and maintain records on all incoming shipments, maintain inventory of all incoming materials, and resolve any issues relating to misdirected goods.

You will be responsible for the location, allocation, and movement of all parts and products to fulfil all internal and external customer orders and outgoing shipments, and you will verify all materials as they are received into the office, checking both product type and quantity. You will co-ordinate and expedite the returns and exchange of any defective items contacting external vendors as required.

You will also be comfortable lifting weights of up to 20 kilos and be conversant in all parts of manual handling. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning the office on a regular basis.

The hours of work are:
Monday to Thursday 1pm - 5pm and on a Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm.

25 days holiday per annum and all bank holidays.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
