Job Purpose and Summary
What we ask
This role has 3 core components including general support to the teams, providing commercial analytics as well as taking responsibility for a junior product group under with support from a business lead.
The responsibilities include:
- Supporting the PSBD team with day-to-day tasks relating to the business and sales development of photo and compact photo print products.
- This involves working with the ICB (Image Communication Business) Lead on various tasks including maintaining accurate forecasts and ensuring promotional roadmaps are maintained and reporting is up to date.
- Providing simple commercial and business analytics relating to assigned product groups.
- Supporting with the go-to-market strategy and business development of CPP products.
- Working closely with the Canon Youth Cultivating Programme (CYCP) project team, to ensure a commercial link between product sales and marketing activities. Also acting as an advocate for PSBD and the ITCG Sales in related workshops.
- Supporting the product sales co-ordinator by collating local marketing activities and competitor activity alongside summarizing market status for ICB product groups.
- Gaining the approval and maintenance of Additional Investment Fund's (AIF) on behalf of the ICB team.
- Limited travel to National Sales Offices.Canon EMEA are looking for a Product Sales Intern to join for 12 months to support the Product Sales & Business Development (PSBD)team across a range of activities.
This generalist role will provide growth and development for an individual studying marketing, business or a commerce degree which will expose you to areas of sales and product marketing, commercial analytics and marketing strategy.
Our team is based at our state-of-the-art EMEA HQ in Uxbridge (Hybrid working - on average 3 days per week in the office) which is easily reaching via the Elizabeth Line, with subsidized restaurant & Costa Coffee and free parking onsite.

You will need
- A relevant Business Degree with an interest in Sales and Marketing Co-ordination.
- Strong time management.
- A Pro-active approach and with a positive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people. Knowledge of European languages desirable.
- Good excel and PowerPoint skills.
