We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a **Rental Assistant** to join our** Breeze Van Centre **in **Portsmouth.** You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary plus bonus opportunity and benefits**.

**About the role**:
As a **Rental Assistant**, you will provide an excellent first impression, welcoming customers and guests. You will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the department through the development of sales to both retail and local corporate customers, whilst ensuring you deliver excellent customer service.

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (30 Min lunch),** **and Saturday on Rota 1 in 2 8:30am - 12:30pm

**Responsibilities as our** **Rental Assistant** **will include**:

- Dealing with customer interactions in a proactive and professional manner.
- Ensuring all customer transactions and queries are handled promptly and efficiently
- Monitoring daily desktop reports, vehicle availability, utilisation, excess mileage etc.
- Identifying new potential sales areas.
- Ensuring rentable standard is met and any additional damage is documented on return.
- Ensuring adherence to the Company‘s hand-over, follow-up, and prospecting procedure

**What we’re looking for in our Rental Assistant**:

- Previous experience in a rental role is desirable although full training will be given
- Flexibility
- Pro active approach
- Excellent communication skills,
- Must hold a clean UK driving licence
- Have a strong customer service ethic with great people skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
