- As our Customer Service Apprentice you will support the Workplace Operations Estate Team in our brand new Government Hub in Bristol. We'll support you through a Customer Service apprenticeship to provide you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to become a high performing customer service specialist and equip you with the theory and the skills to influence customer experience and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

**As our Customer Service Apprentice your work will include the following**:

- Managing the Estates team communications platforms, including the mailbox, Yammer, and engaging in face to face meetings with visitors and stakeholders. Regularly updating site A-Z and building directory pages.
- Carrying out building inductions for new starters to the Government Hub
- Secretariat for Building House Committee, Health & Safety Committee and Team Meetings
- Procurement of stationery, health and safety stock and other miscellaneous items, as well as maintaining the Estates store room
- Implementing and managing locker and cycle processes and administration of the car parking policy
- Visitor and Delivery Co-ordination lead for Reception and Security
- Managing Teams and SharePoint sites and implementing standardised filling systems
- Support in tracking Fire Risk Assessments/Building Risk Assessments actions and other Statutory Assurance Checks
- Support the team to carry out other tasks to contribute towards the day to day operations of the building as directed by the Building Manager or Head of Estate

**Essential Criteria**:

- Organised, efficient and able to manage a varied work-load
- Strong communication skills
- Some experience of customer services/stakeholder management would be beneficial
- IT skills including Microsoft Word / Excel

**What we ask of you**
- This is a fixed term appointment for 18 months therefore we require a 15-18 month commitment to complete your apprenticeship.
- That you hold Math and English GCSE at grade C/4 or above **OR** be committed to successfully completing functional skills tests as part of your learning to demonstrate your abilities.
- There is an expectation that the successful applicant will work from the regional centre they are aligned to. There may be opportunities to work from home or from an alternative regional centre on occasions, in line with our flexible working approach.

Team members that are moving offices as a result of the Locations Programme will be entitled to a Moves Adjustment Payment for three years where they incur additional costs. This is calculated based on the difference between the costs of travelling to and from the new and old office, over a weekly period.
