Home Office Intelligence is a newly established unit, bringing together a number of existing teams involved in the collection and analysis of border and immigration related intelligence. The team has 1600 colleagues based across the UK and international locations who are focused on threats related to Organised Crime, National Security and Revenue. The team’s remit is to deliver Intelligence Collection, Development, Analysis, Targeting (Data Analytics) and Watchlisting capabilities within the Home Office and to its partners across Government and Law Enforcement.

**Job description**:
The project you will work on is the delivery of an industrialised capability that will fuse people and freight data to enable a data analytics driven holistic targeting capability that will allow us to differentiate legitimate border transactions from those that are harmful across all threats and all modes and inform appropriate intervention activity.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Business Deployment Team (BDT). The role will cover a range of activities to support the objectives of the Data Futures Team and would offer the post-holder a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of transformation with senior internal and external stakeholders and play a leading role in delivering significant operational benefits and transformational change.
Personal development will be supported and encouraged in this role and it will be adapted according to the individual's ambitions through a bespoke development plan. The post holder will be supported in enhancing the relevant skill sets through the appropriate training and accreditation.
**Responsibilities**:
The post holder will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Facilitate the delivery of training to a network of Local Learning Officers and super-users to ensure successful delivery in line with the deployment plan
- Support the procurement of any supplier-provided aspects of training and manage the delivery of that training to end-users
- Co-ordinate the creation of a suite of training materials and guidance and ensure these are kept up to date
- Support the user onboarding process by engaging with the business to gather user information and facilitate user access
- Support early-life transition by triaging user feedback, responding to queries and ensuring defects and issues are passed on to the development team
- Maintain the BDT shared drive and the change assets contained therein to ensure a robust, up-to-date information repository
- Support the preparation of BDT returns and commissions for the project governance structure
- Draft, review and issue technical outage comms
- Monitor the Cerberus inbox and calendar, ensuring timely responses to enquiries and full visibility of BDT activities
- Maintain the BDT Confluence page; regularly reviewing content, updating it, and commissioning updates from project colleagues
- Provide secretariat support for BDT-run meetings and workshops including preparation of papers, minuting and updating the action log
- Assist with the planning and management of events such as workshops, team away days and post visits
- Ensure organisational tasks are carried out efficiently.
**Essential Criteria**
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of the use of different channels and formats for different audiences
- Ability to undertake and effectively manage concurrent workstreams and competing priorities
- Close attention to detail, good planning and organisational skills, and able to complete tasks quickly and accurately
- Someone who is enthusiastic and proactive; able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage own time effectively
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues at every level within an organisation
