Job Introduction
**Position**: Part Time Resourcing Officer (Redeployment)
**Hours**: 18.5 hours per week - 2-year Fixed Term Contract

**Part time salary**: £15,075 - £16,460. Effective December 2024, with backdated pay from start date

As we progress with our Delivering the Future Together transformation programme, your role will be vital in retaining skilled and talented employees within our workforce. You will facilitate the smooth transition of employees into new roles, ensuring their skills and experiences are effectively matched with available opportunities.

You will also be responsible for the end to end transactional processes as well as providing system support and recruiting advice to our hiring managers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Redeployment Process Management**: Oversee the end-to-end redeployment process, ensuring affected employees receive appropriate support and opportunities for alternative employment within the Council.
- ** Collaboration and Coordination**: Work closely with managers, HR teams, and service heads to identify and match vacancies with redeployed staff based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
- ** Data Management and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of redeployment activities and prepare reports on outcomes and challenges.
- ** Employee Support and Guidance**: Conduct one-to-one meetings with employees facing redeployment to understand their skills and career aspirations, and provide guidance and resources.
- ** Resourcing Support**: Assist the Resourcing team with recruitment administration processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

**About you**
- ** Experience**: Proven experience in HR, recruitment, or resourcing, particularly in managing redeployment processes.
- ** Skills**:

- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and generate reports.
- ** Knowledge**:

- Understanding of employment law and best practices related to redeployment and recruitment.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as DBS, IR35, and GDPR.
- ** Attributes**:

- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
