**About The Job**

**Salary**: £22,369 to £22,777 per annum.
**Contract type**:3X Permanent positions.

**Working pattern**: Full time, 37 hours per week.
**Location**: Contractual base is Chichester, with hybrid working options.

You will provide reliable, efficient and effective flexible specialist payroll support across our services. Having an eye for detail with be invaluable in this role.

Key duties for this role include:

- Setting up new starter details
- Processing changes to existing contracts
- Calculating payroll related information
- Responding to general customer queries
- Providing customers with standard information and guidance relating to the service
- Maintaining employee details on the HR/Payroll system
- Producing standard correspondence according to set procedures and guidelines

**Experience and Skills**

**Key Skills**:

- Good numeracy skills.
- Clear and effective written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse specialist information and draw practical conclusions and appropriate actions with an understanding of relevant policies and procedures.
- Good verbal communication skills for answering telephone queries.
- The ability to embrace change and adapt to changing situations and new ways of working positively and effectively.
- The ability to plan and prioritise work, setting timescales and organising activities in collaboration with others to meet objectives and deadlines, including when working under pressure.

**Qualifications and/or experience**:

- GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification or experience demonstrating that level of numeracy and literacy.
- Experience of IT systems, data input, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience of working in a customer orientated environment.
- Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance to others.
