The Sales team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive National Account Specialist

National Account Specialist’s working within the National Account team are responsible for growing our business (cylinder and bulk) with existing and new National Account customers, to agreed targets and budgets, in the sector that they operate in. As sector experts are required to fully understand the market dynamics they operate in and have responsibility to share this knowledge with the wider Calor business for maximum benefit.

National Account Specialist’s will be allocated their own portfolio of accounts and will be responsible for all aspects of these. In addition to managing their own accounts they assist the National Account Manager with certain activities in managing the sectors largest accounts.

Relationship management is a key part of this role ensuring that these major customers have professional support at national, regional and local branch level. These roles will report to the respective National Account Managers

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Follow the priorities specified by National Accounts management to maximise the sale of company’s products and achieve individual sales targets and maximise customer service, thus contributing to the Department’s overall objectives of volume, contribution and service
- Identify and plan calls on potential customers within industry sector to ensure continuous growth (to include cold calling)
- Display, at all times, a professional manner. Comply with all administration procedures and maintain company property in good order (laptops etc)
- Keep fully up to date in all developments in the sector that could affect potential or existing business. Ensure accurate and regular feedback of information to NAM on competitor activity
- Ensure the distribution of gas and the storage of gas on customer premises or within customer control, complies with all safety regulations and codes of practice

- Constantly update product and safety knowledge
- Recommend sales promotion plans for industry sector and assist with promotions at shows, exhibitions, etc.
- Work closely to ensure all National Account customers’ staff feel part of the Calor Team and that they are suitably trained in the many varying aspects of Calor
- Work closely with the relevant Operations and Sales staff to ensure customer intimacy is paramount

**As such we would like you to have/be**:

- Educated to degree level ideally or a minimum A-Level standard or equivalent
- LPG or LNG Experience essential
- Proven sales success
- Presentation Skills
- Account Management Experience
- Technical Expertise
- Negotiating skill
- Ability to build and maintain a Network of stakeholders (Both internal and external).
- I.T. literate.
- Full driving licence.
- Target and objective driven
- Positive, “Can-Do” attitude
