**Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?**

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our young service user with his complex care needs throughout the night.

Our service user is a happy teenage boy who lives with his family in West Bromwich.

He enjoys playing with his toys and listening to music, especially waterfall sounds. He also likes to watch lights and patterns, his favourite item to use is a light up snow globe.

He has a visual impairment and is unable to communicate verbally. To express his feelings and indicate his wants and needs he uses various facial expressions and sounds. It is important that you can understand and interpret his communication to avoid him becoming distressed or frustrated.

Throughout the night you will be on hand to provide reassurance, carry out pad changes and ensure that he is safe and well. You will also carry out regular repositioning and ensure he is comfortable, as he has a severe movement disorder.

Most nights he is settled and sleeps well however, there are occasions where he can be awake for long periods of time.

Our service use has a lovely, bubbly personality and is looking for a like-minded person to join his team.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

**Desirable Experience**
- PEG Feeding
- Nebuliser Care
- Bowel Management
- Oral Suction
- Epilepsy Care

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Full Time / Part Time
- Nights
- 8.30pm-6.30am
- 2-5 shifts per week

Weeknights : £13.00 per hour(£130 approx per shift)

Saturday : £14.00 per hour(£140 approx per shift)

Sunday : £14.00 per hour (£140 approx per shift)

Bank Holiday : £15.50 per hour(£155 approx per shift)
