Clean Room Team Leader

Hours - Monday to Friday 6am until 3pm

Cordius is working with a packaging business situated in Ilkeston that provides packaging solutions for cosmetics, food products, household goods, high-end consumer goods, sachet and pouch filling, and hand assembly projects. They are looking for a CleanRoom Team Leader.

Purpose & objective of the job - The role's responsibilities include leading a team of workers, working in a clean room setting, and ensuring that the highest standards of quality are followed. We are seeking for an experienced team leader with knowledge of food manufacturing to join ourclient.

Duties - Support and motivate your team by managing and distributing the workload appropriately.
- Maintain quality control standards and evaluate the quality of your team's work - Proactively find ways to solve obstacles
- Provide on-the-spot training and guidance to team members
- Oversee all production, create production schedules, and monitor production line efficiencies
- If necessary, renegotiate timelines or schedules with production management

Experience & personable attributes required - Previous experience working within a leadership role
- Someone who prides themselves on quality and able to drive a team
- Understanding of BRC Standards and food rooms
- Must be well-groomed with excellent hygiene due to the nature of the role
