**Chef Manager - Thatcham** **Up to £30,000 per Annum (DOE)** **Benefits include**: - **Free meal on shift**: - **Store discount**: - **Free Car Parking** **5 over 7 shift pattern will include weekends.** We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef Manager based at the distribution centre for a Prestigious, Luxury department store in Thatcham. You will be providing outstanding service to the staff and customers whilst guiding and motivatingyour team to be the best they can possibly be. As the Chef Manager, you need to be commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you"ll maximise the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high standards, you"ll enhance sales and provideour customers with great service. You will need to build an excellent relationship with the client making sure their needs as well as contractual needs are met to the highest standard possible. What you"ll be doing **Key Responsibilities include**: - Understand and deliver all contractual terms - Communicate regularly with client (as agreed) - Action plans are completed following consumers satisfaction surveys - Ensure all customer requirements are delivered in line with the expectation - Ensure full purchasing compliance - Monitor and manage GP - Ensure cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained - All food wastage is recorded and minimised - Ensure all customer requirements are communicated to all departments in advance to ensure effective planning - Ensure that all appropriate HSE information, instruction, training and supervision is provided to all employees within your control to enable them to carry out their work safely and effectively. - To communicate site and company targets - Team are supported, trained, coached and develop - Labour turnover is monitored, and team is fully recruited Who you are - Previous management experience. - Previous culinary experience. - Experienced in working in a fast paced environment. - Retail and commercial skills are a must. - Financial awareness. - Motivated to deliver consistent high standards of food and service quality. - Friendly and approachable, with the management skills to develop and manage a team. - A "can-do" attitude. - Computer literate. - **DBS will be required for this role.
