Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) is the new brand of Magnox Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). NRS is responsible for decommissioning first generation nuclear power stations Berkeley, Bradwell, Chapelcross, Dungeness A, Hinkley Point A, Hunterston A, Oldbury, Sizewell A, Trawsfynydd and Wylfa, and research sites Harwell and Winfrith. NRS is also responsible for electricity generation at hydroelectric plant Maentwrog. As a division of NRS, Dounreay is responsible for the clean-up and demolition of the former centre of fast reactor research and development.

- The NRS team onsite at Oldbury are responsible for the safe and efficient decommissioning of the Oldbury Nuclear Power Station._
- An opportunity has arisen in the Construction Department for a Work Scheduler/Planner working for the Construction Manager in support of the wider construction and planning office. The team is made up of a number of Site Engineers, a Work Scheduler/Planner and a Compliance Engineer. The role of the Work Scheduler/Planner is to plan and integrate the Sites activities required on a daily basis in order to deliver efficient maintenance, compliance, operations and construction works on site_. _The role of Work Scheduler/Planner is both challenging and demanding at times in ensuring works are planned and integrated appropriately. _
- The Work Scheduler/Planner will work closely with and support the Compliance Engineer and Works Controller, this provides an exciting opportunity to develop into either role in the future”._

**Key Deliverables**
- To manage the short (2 week), medium (3 month) and long-term (1 year) operational plans for the Construction Office.
- To ensure project plans and individual departmental plans are fully integrated into the site plan through attendance at regular planning meetings.
- Balance site compliance work and programme work to available resources on site
- To work with team leaders and projects on a daily basis to ensure the short-term plan is up-to-date and fully resourced.
- Support the Construction Office with the day to day flow of work and documents through the planning office.
- Help manage and process contractor and site RAMS.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- ONC/BTEC3 or equivalent knowledge/NVQ3 in an appropriate technical discipline OR planning/co-ordination experience at either a Nuclear Site OR a similar process environment (essential).
- Demonstrable experience working in a role where cross-team communication and relationship building was vital to delivery (desirable).
- Knowledge of relevant industrial, radiological and nuclear safety standards and procedures - knowledge of site organisational structure (essential).
- Planning experience (essential).
- Experience working with planning software, i.e. a Passport Work Management System (essential).
- Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Excel and MS Project (essential).
- Flexible in approach to working arrangements (essential). #INDOR
