**Infrastructure Engineer - Glasgow - £55,000**
**The Company**
At Lorien we're working with one of the UK's respected hosting providers. Growing for over 20 years in the industry, they have very ambitious plans to double the size of their business. Backed by investment, they plan to diversify and grow their product portfolio.One of the first stages of this is to expand their Technical Services Team by hiring Specialist Infrastructure Engineers. This role is based in Glasgow however with offices around the country, we're hiring for these positions nationwide.
**The Role**
In this position you'll be part of the core Infrastructure Team who manage and upgrade the datacentre infrastructure, plus the infrastructure provisioning for clients on their projects. This is a great opportunity for engineers to come onboard stepping intoa deeply technical role, with responsibilities spanning architecture, design, delivery and support.

**The Skills**
- Solid background with Windows OS (2016 and later)
- Experience managing enterprise scale hyperconverged infrastructure (VMware)
- Familiar with products from VMWare (vSAN/ vSphere/ vCentre)
- Strong background in Windows Server (Active Directory/ DNS/ DHCP/ etc.)
- Storage Experience (HP/ IBM/ Dell)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
