**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with client(s) to define network requirements. Document and analyse requirements and lead impact analysis.
- Ensure all Network related changes follow the necessary infrastructure Change management processes.
- Ensure that policies, standards, procedures and guidelines are followed
- Review and integrate all requirements, including functional, security, usability, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
- Review and integrate changes to the technical architecture.
- Make all final recommendations regarding network hardware, products, system software, and security. Work with the appropriate client representatives for confirmation and final decisions.

**Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Experience of taking the lead on designing and articulating network solutions
- A specialist understanding of LAN and WAN technologies
- A specialist understanding of Cisco Meraki SDWAN
- Extensive experience of Cisco routing and switching in complex enterprise environments
- A good understanding of Agile methodologies paired with working knowledge of the Agile toolsets and experience of working in an Agile team
- A background of working in a complex, multi-disciplined matrix team
- The ability to prioritise your own work and plan and communicate future activities
- Experience in identifying and implementing new and innovative technologies to support client needs, drive up quality and improve value
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, propose and implement solutions and evaluate their effectiveness
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, influence and negotiate at a senior level and develop successful and collaborative working relationships.
- Experience of Quality Management planning, assurance, control and improvement
- Network Architecture and Network Industry acumen
