Senior Fire Engineer/Consultant - London Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per annum, depending on experience Type: Permanent, Full-Time The Opportunity An established, boutique construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Fire Engineer/Consultant to join its expanding fire division. The business operates primarily in London and the Southeast and delivers high-profile, technically complex projects across commercial, residential, and heritage sectors. This is a visible and hands-on role, offering responsibility for leading fire strategy work, client engagement, and mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and flexible team, working alongside project coordinators and a network of specialist consultants. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation, review, and delivery of fire strategies from RIBA Stage 1 through Stage 4. Undertake fire risk assessments and audits above standard FRA level. Attend client meetings, workshops, and project site visits. Provide technical input on façade remediation, external wall systems, and building safety compliance. Collaborate with project coordinators, sub-consultants, and internal teams. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the fire engineering function.
