We specialise in GRP manufacture of construction-based products and export globally. Our permadec formwork system was used in the construction of the Rio Grande bridge in Jamaica, just one of many countries we export to, and some of our more bespoke products you will find in most premiership football clubs across the UK.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor, with **fantastic working hours** and **early** **finish Friday, Attendance Bonus, Refer a Friend Bonus and Birthday Days.**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
As the **Production Supervisor**, you will be responsible for managing a diverse and talented manufacturing team. Your primary goal is to effectively organise the Shopfloor Employees to achieve an efficient flow of work throughout the day. This position responsibilities also include directing, disciplining, training, and assisting lower-level manufacturing employees within a factory setting. Accountable for the Manufacture of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Panels in a timely manner to support Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production Demands and the adherence to all safe working practices within the department and the performance of the teams within it.

Perform all related duties as assigned by the Factory Manager/Production Manager

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Lead, direct, oversee and coach employees

Check & Confirm Production Output is according to the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Compile & Submit reports on Overall Performance and Progress to specified Targets

Identify issues in efficiency, workflow, product quality and suggest improvements to
support Continuous Improvement (CI)

Enforce strict safety guidelines and ensure compliance to the Company’s Health & Safety Standards

Accomplish manufacturing staff results by planning, monitoring, communicating job
expectations and appraising job results; counseling, disciplining and coaching
employees; coordinating, initiating and enforcing systems, procedures and policies

Maintain work flow by setting process variables, monitoring steps of the process;
observing control points; monitoring resources and personnel; developing reporting
systems and procedures, studying methods; facilitating corrections to malfunctions,
implementing cost reductions; initiating and developing a spirit of cooperation between and within departments

Provide manufacturing information by sorting, initiating, compiling, and analyzing
production performance data and records

Educate and direct employees on the use of materials, all control points and resources

Lead, direct & actively contribute to the Team effort/ethos

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:
Proven experience as Production Supervisor and/or a similar role

Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)

Possess excellent Organizational and Leadership Skills/Abilities

High Standard of verbal & written Communication and Interpersonal Skills,
including the ability to effectively interact with Internal & External Sub-contractors.

Self-motivated Individual with a results-driven approach

Knowledge & Experience of effective Problem-solving Skills (5Y, 8D, A3 Process)
