**RECEPTION ASSISTANT**

**Location: Clumber Park Lodges**

Clumber Park Lodges provides short stay holidays in high standard self-catering accommodation within beautiful surroundings. There is a small on-site reception which also serves as a shop for our guests, offering a range of essentials and gifts.

**Job summary**
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a receptionist to join our friendly team. As a receptionist on-park you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational duties of the resort’s welcome desk.

We are looking for an experienced receptionist, who shares our values and has a genuine passion for the delivery of excellent customer service. You will have a friendly outgoing personality with a can-do attitude. You will be able to remain calm and work well under pressure and be confident to handle guest queries and work to resolve issues.

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Management of a busy welcome desk, including serving in the shop.
- Replenishing shop stock.
- Greeting customers at check in and check out.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure check in and check out are managed well.
- Being the first point of contact for guest complaints / issues / feedback and handling in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Experience of working with the public is desired and you will have experience of working on a

reception or in a customer service-related role.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- First class interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety would be advantageous as you will be required to ensure health and safety is adhered to**Reports to**

**Benefits, Salary and Hours of Work**
- (PT) 25 hours per week - at £9.80. You will be contracted to work on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our park is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
