If you have previous hands-on experience, working in a industrial or process plant or a role where you have had to problem solve, implement solutions and work proactively and are now looking to put your current skill set to good use, then we want to hear from you
**The role**
your role will be to carry out the operation and maintenance of the advanced wastewater plant to meet quality standards.
You will be involved in running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants. Day to day will involve operating the assets in an efficient and robust manner, maximising the sewage treatment/sludge quality and productivity to make the most of our resources.
This will include:
- general maintenance on plant equipment
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Optimizing plant and processes to achieve key performance indicators
- Proactive culture
As part of this role, you will play a big part in the team by ensuring compliance with company policy, processes and procedures are carried out in a safe manner.
You must also ensure the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times.
The role requires participation in a standby rota on a 1 in 6 basis which will be rostered in line with the shift pattern.
**What do I need?**
You'll be working within a great team, outdoors, dealing with different challenges every day. As we said earlier, this role is perfect if you are a practical minded person and enjoy being hands on solving problems.
It is essential that you have a self-motivated work ethic, hard-working nature and good communication skills
You must be happy working outdoors in all conditions. Full training will be provided, including Confined Spaces training. This is a evolving role and you will be required to undertake the required training.
A valid manual UK driving licence is essential for this role
