**About the Role**
We are recruiting for the following levels of educational practitioners, to deliver learning through our therapeutic curriculum:
**Level 1 - Learning & Engagement Support, Admin Support**
No prior teaching experience is required; we provide full training.
You will focus on:
- Relationship building
- Supporting 1:1 and small group learning
- Promoting engagement and emotional safety
- Encouraging life skills and confidence
- At this level, you’ll be supported to gain relevant qualifications in education or support work.
**Level 2 - Qualified Education Practitioner (e.g., HLTA, Level 3 in Education & Training) SEND Team Member**
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering and adapting sessions (AQA, Functional Skills, life skills)
- Supporting emotional regulation and classroom routines
- Contributing to planning and assessment
- Working closely with therapists and care teams
**Level 3 - Lead Education Practitioner / Tutor / QTS / SEND team lead**
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering therapeutic, tailored education
- Leading learning pathways and progress reviews
- Supporting EHCP targets and external professionals
- Mentoring junior staff
- Facilitating accreditation (AQA Unit Scheme, Functional Skills, etc.)
- Embedding therapeutic approaches across the curriculum
**Salary**:
Level 1: £19,000
Level 2: £24,000
Level 3: £30,000-£32,000
Additional benefits include mileage at 45p per mile and CPD opportunities.
**Hours and Contract**:
Full-time or part-time positions available, with a set timetable to support work-life balance. Term-time only contracts may be considered.
**Location**:
Illuminate You - Lifelong Learning Lodge, Marton, Gainsborough and the Hideaway, Hemswell.
We support children aged 10-16 with SEMH needs in a bespoke educational setting that celebrates every learner.
**Pre-employment checks**
All applicants must be willing to undergo background checks. If you have not lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years, you will also be required to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (or equivalent police clearance) from the country/countries where you have resided.

**Please Note**:
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have a good level of physical fitness to safely participate in physical interventions where necessary, in line with our Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) framework. This may include supporting young people during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all individuals involved.

Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
