**About the role**

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Quality Leader with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to join the Nights Warehouse Team. The Quality Leader will be responsible for leading the Quality culture on Nights and delivering improving trends in Quality performance by driving a reduction in complaints. As a Quality Leader, you will be the Night shift SME for Quality, engaging with the team and management making Quality based decisions.

**What you will do**:
**Quality Assurance**
- Work with the established baseline and produce a quality plan for Nights that delivers improvement by product, customer and by aisle.
- Oversee inspection of outgoing product to ensure it conforms to specifications and quality expectations. Review products and crates at all points in the process from picking, building and loading.
- Be accountable for VIP/ Special pick customers and products, ensuring complete quality assurance is achieved before departure.
- Analyse and investigate product complaints and reported quality issues ensuring clear communication with the Night team.

**Stakeholder Management**
- Work with Section leaders to highlight development needs and help the coaching and training of individuals or teams. Ensure that positive relationships are built and maintained.
- Be aligned with Day’s Ops team with regards quality, presentation and rotation of products feeding back constructively aiming to be one seamless team. Communication must be two way.
- Agree corrective and preventative actions to eliminate the root causes to the Quality/Service issues.

**Safety**
- Ensure that all protective measures are in place, i.e. glass protectors.
- Always ensure alignment with Technical. Including Food Safety, HACCP, Specifications, Non-Conformance system and temperature control.

**What you will need**:

- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Experience within fresh produce supply chain
- Understanding of hospitality industry customer expectations
- Good customer base knowledge
