**Interim Head of Engagement and Innovation**:
**Grade 9 (£51,799 - £60,022 p.a. depending on experience)**

**This role will be based on the main university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.**

The Digital Education Service is in a period of sustained growth and is seeking an Interim Head of Engagement and Innovation to take the lead on defining and implementing a vision and operating model for the delivery of a range of specialist services to internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Interim Director of the Digital Education Service, you will be responsible for leadership of activity in support of innovation and engagement with internal audiences and external partners, as well as leadership of our award-winning media production and creative team supporting a wide range of projects. You will work closely with other members of the Service’s Executive Group to ensure the Digital Education Service delivers on the University’s strategic aims and objectives, and continues to keep Leeds at the forefront of digital education in the sector.

As Interim Head of Engagement and Innovation, you will be responsible for leadership and management of four service functions across the Digital Education Service, including direct line management of four senior managers. These include Engagement and Communications, Evaluation and Insight, Media Production and Creative, and External Partnerships.

You will have excellent strategic leadership skills with an ability to motivate and inspire others to deliver excellence. You also will be a skilled communicator with a proven ability to build and develop effective working relationships and networks.
