**£25,000 - £26,000 Base + Benefits**

My client is a highly successful and well-established organisation within the logistics industry. My client, who were established over 20 years ago, provide specialist bespoke solutions to the international freight forwarding industry, e-commerce business, global courier & postal systems. Due to consistent ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join the Customer Services team. You will play an important role in providing 1st class support across the group.

**Tasks**

Working as a key part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide range of customer service activities. Typical activities may include:

- Managing customer complaints or concerns: Investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing
- Assisting liaising with internal teams to solve problems and ensure things run smoothly
- Issuing refunds to consignees while keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence
- Having the mindset of willing to develop, lead and supervise a team of customer service staff to deliver continuously growing department
- Support administration, systems input and filing when required
- Identify ways to reduce sourcing/delivery costs and delivery savings
- Learning new products or services and keeping up to date with internal changes

**Skills Required**:

- Have excellent communication skills, in particular good written English and an excellent telephone manner
- Pay attention to detail and accuracy in their work with good administration skills
- Be organised with good planning, prioritisation and time management skills
- Be a bright and quick learner
- Be able to work well with others from a range of different backgrounds, as part of an effective and close-knit team
- Be a friendly, warm, confident person
- Be willing and able to get stuck into different areas of the business as and when required.
- Be creative, to be able to come up with new ideas to improve customer service standards.
- Be committed to improve your customer service skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
