**Electrical Maintenance Engineer**

Based in Leeds, this role is commutable from Huddersfield, Bradford, Wetherby, Rotherham and surrounding areas.

**As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer your duties will include, but are not limited to** -- Joining the current team of 5 Engineers, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
- Perform the day-to-day electrical maintenance of plant and equipment, to include moulding and assembly machinery, to ensure continuity of Production, consistent with the Company's goals and needs.
- Assist with the maintenance program (TPM) for all plant and/or equipment.(hydraulics, robots, ancillary machines automatic assembly)
- Dismantle, inspect and overhaul equipment, as required by preventive maintenance program and production schedules.
- Acquire and develop advanced knowledge of electronics and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Validate new plant, equipment, automation and upgrades.
- Process / Equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Ensure all items of plant and/or equipment is in good safe working order.
- Identify opportunities for new technology/automation.
- Maintain a high standard of record keeping for all repairs and servicing of plant and/or equipment as required for audit, traceability and warranty purposes, in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Strive to improve the efficiency and safety of plant and equipment through working with other departments, suppliers and internal personnel, whilst being consistent with the buesinesses Core Values.
- Be flexible in your approach to duties in accordance with the requirements of the business.
- City & Guilds (or equivalent) Levels 1, 2 & 3 in Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics qualification
- Must have experience in Injection Moulding, preferably within a high pressure manufacturing environment
- Experience with Injection Moulding tooling and with multi-cavity moulds highly desirable

**On offer**

A salary of up to £37k depending on experience.

Panama shift pattern of 12 hours (6am-6pm/6pm-6am) which follows a 4 week pattern
