**Job description - Traffic Management CAD Operator Job Types: Full-time, Permanent up to £26k per annum**

**Shift Traffic & Events Limited - Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire**

**Working hours are 0830-1700 Mon-Fri however, during busy periods you may be required to work outside these times.**

**The Role**

The role is to produce high quality Traffic Management plans to the standards of NRSWA and Chapter 8. Use your knowledge and experience to adapt or problem solve client requests into safe workable drawings.

Job Description - Roles & Responsibilities

Produce high quality TM Plans;
Ensure that the drawings are chapter 8 compliant and in line with company guidelines;
Produce high quality TM Plans;
- Liaise with clients and Planning Coordinators to ensure total understanding of drawings required;
Maintain the drawing log;
Strive to improve knowledge of Traffic Management and CAD Technology;
Communicate with Drawing supervisor regularly keeping them up to date with your workload;
Deal with drawing queries and escalate if necessary;
Any other duties reasonably requested.Act as a company ambassador at meetings with clients, local authorities and members of the general public

Conduct themselves in a safe, respectful and considerate manner at all times

Liaise with the line managers, office staff and other Operatives as required

Skills and Knowledge

Essential:
Traffic Management experience;
A very good knowledge of Chapter 8 and the Safety at Street Works and Road Works Code of Practice;
TM drawing experience and knowledge;
A working knowledge of CAD software.

Attributes:
You will however require good communication skills, be reliable/punctual as this is a time critical environment, computer literate with good organisational skills while having a helpful & willing attitude with flexible working.
