Experience of delivering results against targets and business plans. Experience of completing industrial services works as well as the project management skills to deliver project work on time and within budget. Experience of contract management and tendernegotiations. Knowledge and experience in the negotiation and agreement of commercially sound contracts. Experience of working as part of a senior management team to make strategically advantageous and operationally sound decisions. A strong working knowledgeand understanding of current and relevant health and safety and transport regulations, and environmental, and waste related legislation. Significant working knowledge of industrial services operations and activities and an understanding of the operations andprocesses being undertaken by those in the customer base and target market sectors. Experience of driving continuous improvement strategies. Experience of developing marketing and sales strategies to grow market share.
Work with the Board of Directors to develop a cohesive strategic plan for the industrial services activity which will formulate key objectives and a clear plan to achieve this.
Manage the day to day operations at the sites on which we operate ensuring compliance with conditions of the environmental permits and any trade effluent discharge agreements and all applicable and related environmental legislation.
Manage the day to day operations at the sites on which we operate ensuring compliance with all health and safety related legislation including health and safety executive guidance documents statutory and non-statutory.
Proactively support and embed a safety culture which leads to the default behaviour of safety and compliance.
Ensure that a safe and healthy working environment exists across sites both internal and third party where health & safety is the first priority for all managers and staff.
P&L responsibility for the industrial services activity and primary responsibility for ensuring operational costs are controlled and managed to maximise gross and net margins from work being carried out.
Implementing lean management procedures to maximise value from sales and free up working capital - driving continuous improvement.
