I am pleased to partner with a fantastic, fast-growing d2c e-commerce business, who are currently expanding their operations team and are looking for a driven junior buyer to join them at their site based in Heston. This is a fantastic opportunity to joina small, but mighty team at a growing business who are still at the early stages of their journey - making it the perfect environment for a junior professional to get wider exposure to the supply chain operations and have the opportunity to take on a varietyof responsibilities and play a key part in their buying team, directly supporting future international expansion of the business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the warehouse team and various suppliers based both in UK and overseas, with the key objective being to ensure the buying margins are aligned with business objectives and stock wastage is keptto a minimum.

As a Junior Buyer, your responsibilities would be:

- Working closely with suppliers to secure required stock at prices that are in line with the company's budgets
- Placing 'guide orders' with suppliers for 6-12 month horizons
- Keeping suppliers informed of latest rolling forecasts changes and update them regularly on any other operational changes that might impact them
- Keeping essential buying resources up to date to reflect any changes from the cross-functional teams, and informing suppliers accordingly
- Escalating any supply issues to style team and working to provide resolutions

You'll fit right in if:

- You have previous experience working within supply chain operations, ideally procurement/buyer roles
- You are a natural problem solver, with an analytical mindset
- Have great Excel / Google Sheets skills
- You have a keen eye for detail
- You are confident in giving clear and concise instructions
- You keep a cool head when there are unexpected changes that impact your original plans
- You have strong communication skills and ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders
