Ferrymill Motors Ltd is one of Scotland's leading bus and coach repairers based in East Dunbartonshire, and attract work from all over the UK. We specialise in carrying out major accident repair work to all types of modern buses, luxury coaches, motorhomes and commercial vehicles. Due to a Company restructure, we are looking for a full-time Parts/Stores Person to provide support to our Stores Supervisor.
**Hours**
Full-Time Permanent Position (40 hours per week)
Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.30pm)
Friday (7.30am - 2.00pm)
**The role will involve but not be limited to**:
- Assist the Stores Supervisor with stock control and invoicing input;
- Liaising with estimators to get parts requests and source/identify the parts required and liaise with workshop staff;
- Checking in parts deliveries as required;
- Manual Handling of parts;
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships;
- Distributing parts and consumables to workshop staff as required;
- Portable Appliance Testing;
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment;
- Carry out general store duties promptly and efficiently;
- Other general duties as required.
**Key Skills, experience and attributes required for this role include**:
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks during a changing workload;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team;
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook & Excel;
- Strong data entry skills and a keen eye for detail;
- Numerical ability to be able to work with part numbers;
- Be reliable and proactive;
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
- Experience in a stores/parts role preferred but not essential.
**Rate of Pay**
£10.00 to £14.50 per hour (depending on age and experience)
Paid weekly
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
