Morrison Water Services are looking to recruit a** Stores Operative** to work in stores based in Glasgow.

As the Stores Operative you will be responsible for the smooth running of our yards across the programme. You will be recording goods and checking stock. Making sure the yards are kept clean and tidy and all stock is available at all times. Attend other sites where required to cover holidays.

You will be in control of day-to-day compliance management including problem solving and resolution of issues arising.

Ensure yards are health, safety, quality and environmentally compliant in accordance with legislations, procedures and standards. Take delivery of goods into stores using tele handler where required. Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and checks for damages and quantity. Update computer system to enable accurate stock levels using Hand Held Device.

You will need to put materials away in stores after deliveries. Get materials out ready for collection for operatives on a daily basis and to issue the materials out using a Handheld Device. Assist with stock checks when required. Keep stores area clean and tidy. To cover work at other sites when required. To deal with the issuing out of Plant.

You will support the teams with site based deliveries of materials when requested to do so. Deliver materials / fittings to other sites when required. Keep yard area clean and tidy and make sure everybody working in the yard area works in a safe manner. Manage the skips on site, ensuring that materials are correctly disposed of in the appropriate skips to maximise recycling possibilities. Unlock and lock up the yard and stores as required.
