**PREP SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR & FINANCE ASSISTANT**

We are looking for an efficient and hardworking administrator to provide support within the Prep School ensuring that processes are managed in a timely and efficient manner. The post holder will be responsible for the Nursery billing process ensuring that funding is correctly allocated and invoices raised. The role will be varied and involve both working independently and as part of a team.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prep School administrative support:

- Producing the weekly newsletter
- Recording of assessment data
- Providing cover for Prep School Reception
- Production of pupil certificates
- Proof reading of policies, grade cards and reports
- Support the Head of Prep’s PA with a variety of tasks
- Support the Nursery admissions process
- Finance Assistant
- Responsible for the production of the Nursery bills on a monthly basis
- Submission of Nursery Hours to the EYFS Portal
- To provide cover for Main School Reception as required;
- To carry out any other duties that might reasonably be required from time to time, according to the needs of the School.

**Person Specification**:
The post holder will be an individual who:

- Has a good standard of education
- Excellent numeracy skills and some experience of invoicing would be desirable
- Good written and oral communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy environment
- Has the ability to work on own initiative, making sure deadlines are met
- A good telephone manner
- Willingness to learn
- Is discreet. They will have access to confidential information
- Has a flexible approach to their work and can adapt quickly to change
- Works well in a team
- Is in possession of good organisational skills

**Hours of work**:
Term times hours are 8.30am - 12.30pm daily (20 hours per week);
During holiday periods the hours reduce to 4 hours per week in line with the requirements of the role.

**Salary**:
Point S9 £8,224pa
