**Location: Central Bristol / Hybrid / Flexible Working**
**Salary Range: £32,000 - £33,500 (Fixed-term Contract - 14 months)**

- Matter seeks a mission-led People Coordinator to support people through the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring our people have the best experience possible.- You will enjoy being the first point of contact for all queries directed to the People Team, where you will provide support and guidance on our people policies, processes, and any employee relations cases, whilst supporting with any necessary new initiatives to enhance the Matter experience.Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of job descriptions and job adverts
- Drafting and issuing offer letters, contracts of employments, and supporting onboarding through our HRIS BambooHR
- Update and maintain People data within our HRIS BambooHR, ensuring accurate, up to date information is always accessible
- Maintain and build upon our People SharePoint page, which acts as our intranet for employees to access policy, benefits, training, and committee information
- Preparing the monthly payroll, collating employee changes and deductions or payments (e.g. absence, paid out holiday) and working with our outsourced payroll providers and our internal Finance Team to process payment
- Drafting and issuing correspondence relating to contract changes, probation passings/extensions, leave, disciplinary and grievances
- Provide excellent customer service to our employees, advising on policies and procedures where needed
- Build and run necessary reports for our Senior Leadership Team and Sustainability Officer (e.g. headcount, salary reporting, absence levels)
- Coordinating the performance management cycles, making sure quarterly reviews are held on time, and that objectives are recorded in our HRIS, managing any promotion and salary increase cycles that accompany this
- Supporting in any capability, disciplinary, absence, or grievance procedures with the support from our General Council
- Coordinating our learning and development efforts such as supporting with training requests, running our lunch and learn programme
- Administering our benefits offering, ensuring employees are added/removed from our benefits platform, supporting employees with any queries related to benefits, and working with our external benefits partners to manage the renewals process
- Working collaboratively with colleagues from across the business on related culture and people projects
- Other ad-hoc support to the wider Operations Team as well as the Senior Leadership Team to support the people experience at Matter

- This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator or coordinator who enjoys working independently, working across the whole business and gaining further development in all things within generalist HR, such as benefits and payroll, employee relations, L&D and culture.- Your legacy will ensure that Matter’s People processes are better than when you inherited them and make a significant stamp on a scaling business.- You will get exposure to working with the Exec team and other senior stakeholders and learn about the wider business.**About you**
