Due to continued growth, our client is looking to employ a personable and motivated **New Projects Engineer.** Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of new infrastructure projects; in addition to:

- Proactively appointing, coordinating and manage design consultants, contractors and other suppliers.
- Monitoring and supervising civil, building works and/or services contracts.
- Ensure all works on site are carried out in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner.
- Contract administration of minor works and supporting Head of Civil Engineering.
- Reporting to senior managers on contract (or elements of the contract)
- Progress and budget and advise on actions needed to keep the project to the agreed programme
- Contribute to the continuous business improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives.

To be successful in the role of **New Projects Engineer**, we would like to speak to anyone who has experience in the following:

- BEng or higher in Civil Engineering.
- Demonstrable experience in managing construction on site.
- Full driving license.
- Proficient in process management.
- Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of civil and building projects life cycle.
- Ability to manage tendering and procurement process for various stages of projects.
- Strong understanding of industry standard contracts and ability to deal with contractual items.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
- A sound working knowledge of AutoCAD desirable.
