The Growth Company (GC) is looking to recruit Technical Sales Associates (TSA) to lead on the promotion and sales of a suite of technical products to support localities across the UK to improve their business support offer.

In this role, the TSA will Support the GC Business team and National Director to promote GC Business’ suite of technical products and service offering in order to establish GC Business’ business support programmes in localities across the UK and to support GC Business in becoming the ‘go-to’ provider of business support. The role will also include liaising with partner organisation, Red Flag Ltd., in relation to a product co-developed by GC and Red Flag.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Search for and target new clients who might benefit from GC Business’ suite of technical products and/or services and maximize client potential in designated regions.
- Meet / network with potential clients, taking the opportunity to pitch and promote GC Business’ products / services at networking events, conferences and trade shows.
- Actively engage in LinkedIn and other forms of social media to promote GC Business and to identify potential clients.
- Work with GC Business’ clients to understand their needs and to agree the scope of requirements.
- Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and GC Business needs.
- Calculate client quotations and work with the finance team to administer client accounts.
- Liaise with other members of the GC Business team and other technical experts to convey technical product requirements of the client.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Skills Required**:

- Ideally 5 yrs plus experience of SaaS sales and/or technical/data sales into the public sector.
- Looking for someone with a consultative approach to selling technical products / services ideally with experience selling into the public sector.
- Proven track record of winning additional consultancy project.
- Experience working within economic development (desirable).
- Experience of using IT systems such as Microsoft Outlook, MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Can demonstrate numerical skills and present MI effectively.
- Ability to pitch and present to both small and large audiences.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £43,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
