The Role
Liaising with the owners you will fulfil their ambitious events strategy. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be supported in this by the wider marketing team who will help ensure every event a success. In addition to running monthly events, you will also help maximise all CEL activities.
We already have an exciting social calendar with regular parties and team building events. Every Friday is an event in itself, when we down tools early to host debates, training, the employee of the month scheme and prize draws for holidays linked to performance.
We’re very active in giving back to our local community and regularly take part in charity work. We also want to build on further activity to support our diversity committee.
As the Events and Activity Coordinator, you should be well-organised and possess a sound knowledge of events management. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail is also vital.
Hardworking, will be responsible for every part of event preparation, including, but not limited to, liaising and booking guest speakers, negotiating costs, logistics, travel arrangements, choosing venues, approving menus, developing seating plans, and evaluating success afterwards.
Key responsibilities:
- Keep on top of the events’ plan / strategy
- Work on multiple events concurrently
- Identify the requirements and expectations for each event
- Manage the set-up, delivery and follow up of events
- Prioritise workload and ensure deadlines are met
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous events experience is required
- Being well organised is crucial to this role
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines is crucial
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team is a must
- Creative flair and outgoing personality to host events
**Salary**: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
