2nd / 3rd Line Engineer (Cloud/Server) - South Yorkshire - to £45,000 (Hybrid working)

Major MSP urgently requires a 2nd or 3rd Line Project Engineer to work within my clients Delivery function covering Cloud & Server. You will be responsible for the creation of cloud / server solutions (physical and virtual / cloud) designs based upon clientrequirements, creation of implementation and test plans for delivery and the implementation of network solutions with post implementation support whilst acting as a 3rd Line escalation point for Service Desk incident tickets and also supporting the Pre-Salesteam, as required, with proposed solution designs within Commercial Proposals for server / hosting solutions that meet client enquiry requirements.

As an Engineer you will also provide support for my clients private hosting platform, this requires supporting the strategic development, implementation, testing, monitoring and management of the platform, this includes operational stability, server patching,backup, event management and availability management. You will also take ownership an input to solution designs at all levels (High Level, Low Level and Technical), create test plans to ensure required quality of implementations, create deployment plans tomeet customer requirements and provide relevant levels of risk management and create and maintain all relevant documentation.

Technically you will be MCSE / Server+ or equivalent experience (MCSP, CCNA, VMware VCP and /or Azure/AWS or Google is beneficial) and have knowledge of some of the following:

- Microsoft OS / Linux OS (bonus), Hyper V / VMware / (XEN Server or Nutanix -bonus), general Network understanding to CCNA / Network + standard, M365 suite / G suite / AWS Workspace (bonus) and Exchange / Exchange online.

This is a great opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer looking to move to 3rd line or a 3rd line wanting to progress his career further as this role will shortly move into management that will then lead to Director level

The role requires 2 days per week in a local office is predominantly office based within standard working hours, with travel to other sites in the North and also customer sites will be required.

£45,000 plus superb benefits
